Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Level 2 for an onsite role in Huntsville, AL. The candidate will apply established engineering methods, analyze data, and support design and process-related tasks with 5–7 years of experience.

This 12-month contract (with possible extensions or conversion to permanent) offers hourly pay of $60–$65 and requires a Bachelor's in Engineering plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant manufacturing, process, or design engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data evaluation skills.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and apply engineering principles.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine engineering tasks related to manufacturing, process, and design engineering.
• Collect, analyze, and evaluate technical and operational data.
• Develop plans and recommendations for assigned engineering projects.
• Apply established engineering methods, standards, and procedures to solve problems.
• Support design applications, process improvements, and engineering initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to complete assigned projects.
• Ensure work complies with applicable engineering standards and company procedures.
