Mack Molding Co. is seeking a mid‑to‑senior level Manufacturing Engineer to translate brilliant designs into reliable, scalable builds. You’ll work on front‑line products with hands‑on troubleshooting on the floor, design reviews with customers, and pilot lines coming to life quickly.

You will lead complex electro‑mechanical assemblies, collaborate directly with customers on DFM/DFT, and drive process development and continuous improvement for full production readiness.

Qualifications

• A B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT).
• Excellent electro‑mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting instincts.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing secondary operations.
• Leadership experience guiding teams and operations through cGMP requirements.
• Clear, confident verbal and written communication.
• Enjoys hands‑on work, design, process development, pilot manufacturing, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering for complex electro‑mechanical assemblies from design input to pilot builds and full production.
• Partner with customers applying DFM, DFA, and DFT to ensure buildability, testability, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Develop, validate, and launch new manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead cross‑functional teams and mentor engineers and technicians.
• Provide cGMP direction to operations for medical and regulated programs.
• Break down complex builds into WBS and teach execution.
• Troubleshoot root causes of electro‑mechanical problems.
• Apply and optimize secondary operations like pad printing, silk screening, ultrasonic welding, and inserting.
