Zusammenfassung

GE Aerospace in the United States seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for the Combustors & Structures Lab to lead New Product Introduction manufacturing projects, from initial concept through hardware ownership in a low-volume, high-mix environment. You will shape shop processes and coordinate with design, sourcing, quality and engine programs teams.

The role requires at least 5 years in manufacturing, with CNC machining experience and a strong bias for lean improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing experience in machining, assembly, or inspection.
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.

Aufgaben

• Develop hardware from design to production including planning, tooling design and prove-out.
• Create process docs and operator instructions for lab technicians.
• Coordinate with design, sourcing, quality and engine programs teams.
• Advance processes using new machining technologies and lean methods.
• Own shop improvement projects and lead lean improvements on lab processes.
• Document and execute programs with project management oversight.
