Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Troy, Alabama is seeking a Senior Manufacturing / Process Engineer (Second Shift) for the Missile Assembly team at Pike County Operations. You will drive manufacturing process improvements and deliver digital tools to boost productivity on the shop floor.

You will analyze data, integrate new assets, support continuous improvement, troubleshoot equipment, and develop detailed work instructions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline at Bachelor level with +3 years experience; or Master level with +1 year; or 7 years total experience.
• Must be willing to work the second shift 1530 to 0200.
• Strong knowledge of general manufacturing processes and excellent communication skills.
• Hands-on mechanical ability for missile assembly and tool/equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering data to develop new manufacturing processes and detailed work instructions.
• Integrate new assets and technologies into the factory.
• Support area-wide continuous-improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce cost.
• Investigate root-cause of quality defects and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Troubleshoot, service, and repair process equipment and tooling.
