Job summary

SHL Medical is building a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in North Charleston, South Carolina. This role sits in Operations Engineering and links engineering with project management to support end-to-end processes for our product platforms, ensuring scalable, high-quality production and client-focused status updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in complex devices and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of medical device quality management system ISO13485 and GMP.
• Knowledge of RCA methodologies and problem-solving approaches.
• Direct experience in the medical device industry and regulatory understanding.

Responsibilities

• Owns overall technical responsibility for products/platforms in commercial manufacturing at the site.
• Acts as SME for product/process/capacity and compliance knowledge.
• Drives process improvements from internal production to final packaging.
