Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical discipline.
• Equivalent education, training, or relevant professional experience will be considered.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering (machining, sheet metal fabrication, tooling, equipment, or related).
• Ability to develop, implement, test, and improve engineering designs and manufacturing solutions.
• Experience with technical engineering specifications preparation and application.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, interpreting complex/conflicting information.
• Project planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication for various audiences.

• Knowledge of safe work practices, relevant regulations, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing requirements and define process steps, machinery, tooling, and equipment needed for production
• Design, develop, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and systems to meet cost and quality goals
• Develop engineering solutions and coordinate feasibility testing for process validation
• Prepare and apply technical engineering specifications and support engineering standards
• Inspect equipment, installations, and processes, recommending corrective actions as needed
• Identify shortcomings in existing processes and implement improvements using approved change management systems
• Coordinate activities with suppliers, subcontractors, and external partners per project plans
• Support product development by analyzing customer needs and delivering manufacturing solutions
• Manage engineering activities in accordance with project schedules, plans, and goals
• Provide technical support and guidance to others on engineering and knowledge management systems
