Job summary

Aditi Consulting is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II in Dubuque, IA to plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering work across machining, sheet metal, and tool design.   • Knowledge of safe work systems, policies, regulations, and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engineering solutions and coordinate feasibility testing to support solution development and validation.
  • Support the development, application, and evaluation of engineering standards and specifications.
  • Inspect engineering work, equipment, installations, or structures and recommend corrective actions to meet specs and regulations.
  • Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures and implement improvements via change management.
  • Coordinate activities with suppliers, subcontractors, and external resources per project plans.
  • Support product development and engineering activities by analyzing customer needs and delivering manufacturing solutions.
  • Manage assigned engineering activities within project plans, schedules, and goals.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to help others use engineering systems effectively.

$47.13 - $52.00 /hour.

Summary

As a Manufacturing Engineer II located in Dubuque, IA, you will plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering work supporting machining, sheet metal, and tool design processes. You will work in a team environment to develop and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and engineering solutions that meet established safety, quality, cost, and project requirements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Equivalent manufacturing engineering education, training, and relevant professional experience.
  • Manufacturing engineering experience involving machining, sheet metal fabrication, tooling, equipment, or related manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to develop, implement, test, and improve engineering designs and manufacturing solutions.
  • Experience preparing and applying technical engineering specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to interpret complex or conflicting information.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage work within an established project schedule.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with different audiences.
  • Ability to make timely decisions and remain accountable for commitments.
  • Knowledge of safe work systems, applicable policies, regulations, and risk‑management practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with production teams, suppliers, contractors, and other engineering functions.

Pay Transparency

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $47.13 - $52.00/hour. Non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full‑time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
