Job summary

Oshkosh Vocational Tennessee seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to manage manufacturing processes, routings, BOMs, time studies, and engineering changes at the new Murfreesboro facility. You will collaborate with Engineering and Operations, review new releases, optimize tooling, and apply lean/six sigma methods to improve throughput.

Requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of experience, ERP/CAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering or related field.
• Five (5) or more years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Be subject matter expert for a selected series of processes.
• Oversee and coach supporting engineers or engineering technicians to ensure manufacturing excellence.
• Lead projects using lean/six sigma to improve processes and meet deadlines.
• Manage capitalization of equipment and receipts of POs related to projects.
• Collaborate with design engineering to develop corrective actions for product performance issues.
