Job summary

CIRCOR has an opening for a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to develop methods and sequences for complex machined parts, collaborating with manufacturing, design engineering, quality, and customer service.

The role emphasizes manufacturability input, manufacturing plans, and continuous improvement through Lean initiatives such as set-up reduction and Kaizen events, in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using ERP systems and MS Office tools (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Project) is required.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret drawings and specs.
• Proficiency in statistical methods and quality tools is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing technology is required.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing environments with machining/high-mix low-volume experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare complete processes and routes for manufactured parts to meet goals (scrap/lead time).
• Evaluate processes through analysis, data, and operator feedback.
• Design fixtures and gauges for manufactured parts.
• Identify root causes using statistical methods and adjust designs or processes.
• Lead continuous improvement projects (set-up reduction, TPM, 5S) and support Lean manufacturing.
