You will define standards, mentor staff, and guide PFMEA while advancing capital equipment startups and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 8+ years in precision manufacturing, with Lean/Six‑Sigma experience and strong CAD/CAM skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of relevant Manufacturing Engineering experience in high-precision manufacturing.
• Extensive machining background involving close-tolerance metal parts.
• Lean and Six-Sigma experience and data-driven problem solving.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and control technical standards for use by Manufacturing Engineers.
• Lead PFMEA activities and set process control requirements.
• Mentor and develop the technical abilities of other employees.
• Evaluate complex manufacturing processes and coordinate with suppliers.
• Lead start-up of new capital equipment and modernization efforts.
• Travel as needed, anticipated less than 10% of time.
• Provide inputs for production planning, design, and repair from a manufacturability perspective.
