Job summary

CIRCOR International, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Systems to bridge Manufacturing Engineering with design, quality and manufacturing operations. The role develops methods and sequences for complex parts, supports CNC programming, and drives Lean improvements across the plant.

The position focuses on breakthrough efficiency, fixtures and processes, and alignment with production planning. Bachelor's degree required; on-site Kentucky facility involvement is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to design machine fixturing for manual and CNC equipment.
• Ability to create repeatability in processes for Machining and Assembly.
• Ability to define and write standard work.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and understand GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Create methods and sequence of manufacturing operations for complex machined parts and assemblies.
• Work with cell management, tool design, and CNC programming.
• Provide manufacturability input and manufacturing plans for product design or modification.
• Lead continuous improvement projects (set-up reduction, Kaizen events).
• Update MRP system with lead times, routing, and manufacturing data.
• Develop Standard Work documentation for Machine and Assembly operations.
• Analyze workflow to maximize efficiency and capacity.
