Job summary

CIRCOR is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Monroe, NC to develop manufacturing methods and sequences for complex machined parts and assemblies. You will work with design, quality, and service teams to ensure manufacturability and meet quality requirements.

You will lead continuous improvement projects, implement fixtures and gauges, and analyze processes to reduce scrap and lead time. Strong CAD, ERP, and data analysis skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology is required.
Minimum 3 years experience in a Manufacturing environment is required.
Minimum 3-5 years engineering experience is required.
Experience in machining, and high mix-low volume is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and prepare complete processes and routes for manufactured parts to meet goals for scrap and lead time.
Evaluate processes with analysis, considering design, materials, and shop observations.
Determine, design, and implement fixtures and gauges for parts.
Investigate root causes using statistical methods and potentially adjust designs or tolerances.
Lead continuous improvement projects such as set-up reduction, TPM, and 5S in Lean environment.
Evaluate product designs for manufacturability and start up new capital equipment.
Manage multiple project plans and schedules within timing and cost constraints.
