Job summary

Hillphoenix in Conyers, GA, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive operational excellence across assembly, fabrication, and electrical panel assembly. You will lead major factory transformations, manage capital projects, and embed Lean methodologies to achieve sustained productivity, quality, and cost targets.

The role requires strong experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, PFMEA, and capacity planning, plus the ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex transformations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing engineering role in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment of the OpEx model focusing on Standard Work, Leader Standard Work, and Tier Accountability in assigned areas.
• Plan, lead, and execute Kaizen events and rapid improvement projects to eliminate waste, improve quality, and reduce cycle time.
• Utilize PFMEA and Poka-Yoke to identify and resolve complex issues and prevent recurrence.
• Conduct Line Balancing, Work Content Calculation, and Headcount Calculation to optimize resources and support production needs.
• CapEx management: lead major projects from concept through commissioning, including ROI/NPV, vendor selection, and installation oversight.
• Lead automation initiatives to implement new technology while ensuring safety, quality, and production specifications.
• Lead area transformations and layout changes for plant restructuring or new product introductions.
