Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) Lead to drive technical readiness and manufacturing scalability across new plant launches. This role operates within the PMO, ensuring processes, equipment, and layouts meet program requirements at startup sites.

You will lead automation and digital tooling initiatives, collaborating with engineering, operations, and quality while travelling to plant sites as needed to support deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (minimum)
• Experience with equipment commissioning, process validation, and layout design
• Strong understanding of automation, digital manufacturing tools, and lean principles
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to travel to plant sites as needed to support program deployment
• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with CAD, MES, or other manufacturing systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as the AME workstream lead on cross-functional programs and projects in PMO planning and execution
• Deploy to plant sites to support equipment installation, process validation, and layout optimization
• Partner with PMO teams to align manufacturing engineering deliverables with program timelines and launch goals
• Lead efforts to integrate automation, digital tools, and advanced technologies into new manufacturing lines
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new products
• Support development of standard work, process documentation, and training materials
• Identify and resolve technical issues during launch phases and escalate risks as needed
• Provide feedback toLeadership on technical readiness and improvement opportunities
