The Judge Group, INC. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for a facility near Staunton, VA. You will solve manufacturing problems, design equipment, and lead installation and training on complex projects with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering, 5+ years of related experience, and a strong lean/continuous improvement background. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, CAD proficiency, and capital project coordination in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required or preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in related technical field.
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects.
• Experience coordinating capital expenditure requests for projects.
• Strong CAD proficiency in Solid Edge/SolidWorks or similar.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and hands-on manufacturing equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing problems and develop alternative approaches.
• Evaluate solutions for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Maintain hands-on knowledge of operating systems and equipment.
• Stay current on mechanical and electrical technology to improve processes.
• Keep Manufacturing Engineering Manager informed on project status.
• Write tool orders and material requisitions to vendors or internal teams.
