Job summary

The Judge Group seeks a Project Engineer for a manufacturing company in Starkville, MS. You will lead capital projects from planning through startup and handoff, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet safety and performance goals.

You will develop scopes, budgets, schedules, and technical requirements; track milestones; ensure regulatory compliance; and support commissioning to achieve operation objectives. Bachelor’s in Engineering with 2+ years’ PM exp preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 2+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Knowledge of plant processes, maintenance, and capital project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital improvement projects from planning through startup and handoff.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and plant personnel to ensure execution.
• Oversee equipment installations, process upgrades, and facility modifications.
• Track milestones, costs, and risks with corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare documentation for approvals and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Promote safety culture and verify adherence to standards.
• Support commissioning activities to meet objectives.
