Job summary

Lucid Motors in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer within the General Assembly Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team. You will own equipment projects from scope through validated production handoff, ensuring safe installation and capable processes.

You will define equipment scopes, evaluate supplier proposals, drive project execution, manage schedules, and collaborate across Design, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Facilities, and Supply Chain to ensure readiness for high‑volume

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 6 years of manufacturing engineering experience in assembly operations and launch.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English for technical duties.

Responsibilities

• Define equipment scopes, specifications, and RFQ packages for safe, quality-focused launches.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and support supplier selection and delivery.
• Lead projects from design approval to build, FAT, installation, and handoff.
• Develop schedules, budgets, risk registers and escalation paths for launches.
• Coordinate with Product Design, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Facilities and Supply Chain.
• Define acceptance criteria for safety, ergonomics, and process performance before handoff.
• Deliver validated equipment and training inputs for Operations ownership.
