Job summary
Lucid Motors in California seeks an experienced Senior Process Development Engineer to lead the specification and advancement of powertrain product, process, and equipment technologies. Qualifications
- Product design and process development engineering experience.
- 2D drawing and 3D CAD proficiency required.
- DOE, DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ methods and validation knowledge.
- Experience with laser welding, metrology, and manufacturability.
- Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel to Lucid AMP locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead new product development, feasibility studies, and prototype work.
- Define process and equipment requirements with process engineers.
- Develop test methods and validation plans for powertrain performance.
- Collaborate across teams to refine performance specs and roadmaps.
- Train technicians and support equipment commissioning and handoff to Operations.
