Job summary
Mytra seeks an Industrial Engineer to scale its robotics manufacturing footprint at Brisbane, CA, moving from prototype to mass production. You’ll design the process, equipment, and MES, working closely with hardware, supply chain, quality, and testing teams to deploy scalable manufacturing solutions.
You’ll drive DFx initiatives, optimize layouts, and partner with suppliers on stamping, welding, and plastics processing to meet demand with speed and quality.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in manufacturing with DFx focus.
- Experience designing semi-automated assembly lines or manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to analyze large data sets and conduct process analysis for scaling goals.
- CAD proficiency for part design and layout planning.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy the machine that builds the machine.
- Develop manufacturing build processes for robotic hardware.
- Simulate and test a factory flow at scale.
- Plan manufacturing layouts for assembly and fabrication of robotic systems.
- Develop MES workflows and maintenance.
- Procure and install new equipment.
- Troubleshoot production issues to meet ramp targets.
- Collaborate with suppliers on manufacturing technologies.
