Job summary

Rondo Energy seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and scale-up of assembly processes for the modular thermal battery system. You will work with design, supply chain, and field teams to establish data-driven manufacturing processes that meet quality, cost, and throughput goals in a fast-paced environment.

You will own DFm/ DFA input and drive continuous improvement across early prototype to high-volume production, partnering closely with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience developing manufacturing processes and equipment for new hardware products.
• Hands-on ability with debugging and improving new production lines or early-stage processes.
• Strong emphasis on continuous improvement and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and validate the assembly process for the modular thermal battery system from prototype through scaled production.
• Build virtual process models using value stream mapping, process flow software, and simulation tools.
• Lead standardized, data-driven production processes using IoT, SPC, and manufacturing analytics tools.
• Collaborate with design engineering, supplier quality, sourcing, and manufacturing partners to transition designs into scalable production.
