Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Electronics & Box Build) to lead process optimization in a high-mix, low-volume electronics environment.

You will own PCB assembly and box-build workflows, champion DFx with the design team and customers, and partner with Quality on root-cause analyses and permanent fixes. Independent judgment is essential to continuously improve the floor operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in electronics manufacturing (experience across high-mix, low-volume environments).
• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DfM) principles.
• Ability to interact with customers and translate needs into actionable actions.
• Independent judgment and proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Experience designing assembly cells and tooling; knowledge of ECO processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the Process: design, troubleshoot, and optimize PCB assembly (SMT) and full box build workflows.
• Champion DFx: validate manufacturability with design team and customers early in the cycle.
• Be the Root Cause Expert: perform deep-dive root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Control the Chaos: manage ECOs and generate clear work instructions for changes.
• Tooling & Layout: design assembly cells and specify tooling; ensure smooth production flow.
