Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to serve as the ME Subject Matter Expert for the Electric Propulsion program. You will help transition thruster variants from design into high-rate production and set manufacturing standards with speed and decisiveness.

You will lead process development, tooling, and procedures while building ME capability across the team to deliver propulsion systems at rate. This role reports to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing engineering in high-rate production environments.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to collaborate with design and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce manufacturing best practices across the ME team.
• Lead speed, decisiveness, and first-principles thinking to remove waste.
• Represent ME in program forums, design reviews, and leadership updates.
• Act as technical escalation point for complex manufacturing problems.
