You will lead the planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to manufacturing equipment and systems, while leading and co‑leading teams. You will drive safe, reliable processes, improve equipment performance, and advance continuous improvement by applying Cummins standards and leading cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related technical field, with 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience leading manufacturing, industrialization, or capital projects in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment installation and commissioning, process development, capacity analysis, and production readiness activities.
• Experience applying engineering problem-solving and risk management tools such as Root Cause Analysis, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of manufacturing and capital projects from concept through implementation, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved.
• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and production systems to improve operational performance and manufacturing readiness.
• Serve as the technical lead for cross-functional project teams, driving risk mitigation, issue resolution, equipment commissioning, and successful project delivery.
