Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for Assembly & APQP in Pontiac, IL. The role focuses on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for fuel injector assembly and testing, with leadership in APQP, PFMEA, and control plans.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity across production operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering.
• Experience with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process validation.
• Strong background in assembly, testing, and production support.
• Experience with continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Automotive or fuel systems manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for fuel injector assembly and testing.
• Lead APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and process validation activities.
• Support production, quality, and process improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product launches and process validation.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvement projects.
