Cintal, Inc. in Pontiac, IL is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for Assembly & Test to develop and optimize fuel injector manufacturing processes and lead APQP, PFMEA, and control plans with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering.
• Experience with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process validation.
• Strong background in assembly, testing, and production support.
• Experience with continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Automotive or fuel systems manufacturing experience preferred.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Development .
• Experience with manufacturing process development, assembly, and testing .
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Experience with process validation, production support, and quality systems .
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications .
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and project management skills.
