Rocket Lab in California is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer I/II (AIT) to drive assembly, integration, and test of spacecraft. You will collaborate with design, production, quality, and test teams to ensure robust, manufacturable processes and timely delivery.

The role requires 5+ years (I) or 8+ years (II) of aerospace/mfg experience, CAD proficiency, and a passion for solving complex production challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace or manufacturing engineering.
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, with AIT focus.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies and R&D in manufacturing tech.
• Work with Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability at scale.
• Design, procure, install, validate assembly, test and verification processes.
