Swoon in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development and continuous improvement across electronics and battery product lines. The role offers high visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities for professional growth.

You will drive process improvements, design tooling, provide hands-on support, and mentor junior engineers while partnering with Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in one of the specified engineering fields.
• 5–7 years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace/defense or similar regulated sector.
• Experience with new product introduction and production transfers.
• Experience developing process routings, work instructions, and PFMEAs.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and AS9100 compliance.
• Design production tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support precision assembly and machining.
• Provide hands-on technical support to production and troubleshoot issues.
• Partner with Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to improve workflows and throughput using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
• Support new product introductions, including process validation and transitions.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, routings, and work instructions.
• Identify cost savings, automation opportunities, and process improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians with operations leadership on strategies.
