Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small QA team including Inspectors and a QA Engineer.

Swoon is partnered with a well-established aerospace and electronics manufacturer seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to lead a small team, resolve quality issues, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a small team of QA Inspectors and a Quality Engineer.
• Drive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement across manufacturing.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCCA/CAPA).
• Maintain compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and FAA quality requirements.
• Support customer, internal, and regulatory audits.
• Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

Qualifications:

• Aerospace/defense manufacturing experience, ideally in electronics, avionics, or power systems.
• Strong AS9100, ISO 9001, and RCCA/CAPA knowledge.
• Quality systems lead auditor experience.
• Previous quality leadership experience and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5–7+ years of quality experience.
