Eaton Corporation’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution Aerospace division seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for our Torrance, CA on-site facility.

The role focuses on driving manufacturing excellence, PFMEA leadership, and capital equipment reviews in a fast-paced aerospace environment. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3+ years of manufacturing support, SolidWorks proficiency, and ERP/SAP experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
3+ yrs experience providing engineering support to a manufacturing work environment.
Basic Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS, CAD/CAM or other similar software.
ITAR requires U.S. person status per regulations.
No sponsorship or relocation assistance available; must reside within 50 miles of Torrance, CA.

Responsibilities

Be SME in assigned cell (e.g., SMT Automation) and drive operational excellence.
Improve machine uptime, setup, defects, and solderability within the cell.
Optimize programs and fixturing to increase accuracy and utilization of machines.
Lead PFMEA, control plan development, and manufacturing readiness reviews for NPIs.
Lead cross-functional problem solving on process capability, yield, downtime, or safety risk.
