Job summary

Eaton’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution Aerospace division is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to support day-to-day operations and improve processes at the Torrance, CA facility.

This role requires hands-on engineering expertise to optimize manufacturing, develop safety improvements, and drive cost savings and yield improvements. The position focuses on leading PFMEA, control plans, NPI readiness, and cross-functional problem solving, with a strong emphasis on machine uptime, tooling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3+ yrs experience providing engineering support to a manufacturing work environment.
• Basic Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS, CAD/CAM or other similar software.
• ITAR compliance constraints for U.S. persons.
• No relocation assistance; must reside within 50 miles of Torrance, CA.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations and site growth as a technical expert.
• Improve process documentation and support new product and capital equipment projects.
• Develop safety, cost savings, and yield improvements in manufacturing processes.
• Lead PFMEA, control plans, and readiness reviews for assigned programs.
• Drive improvements in machine uptime, setup, and defect reduction.
• Ensure ERP routers and manufacturing data are accurate and auditable.
