Qualifications

• Experience in highly regulated aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• Ability to translate engineering requirements into robust production processes.
• Experience with root-cause and corrective actions using structured methods.
• Knowledge of manufacturing documentation and configuration management.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes for complex aerospace products.
• Provide tech leadership from design transition to production and sustainment.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and configuration requirements for manufacturability.
• Develop manufacturing plans, routings, tooling, and process documents.
• Lead 8D, 5 Whys, and fishbone RCA investigations.
• Support nonconformances, MRB, and production issue resolution.
• Collaborate across functions to implement improvements and ensure compliance.
• Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste.
• Design tooling, fixtures, equipment, and production aids.
• Prepare for readiness reviews, first articles, and audits.
• Mentor engineers and communicate status, risks, and recovery plans.
