Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Camden, AR is seeking a Lead, Manufacturing Engineer to develop and oversee manufacturing plans, tools and processes for our facility. You will participate with project teams to coordinate new product releases and manage costs and time standards.

The role requires significant project leadership, ability to travel, and eligibility to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance. Proficiency with data analysis tools and lean six sigma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred with 7+ years experience; in lieu of degree, 13+ years of related experience.
• Strong background in manufacturing engineering, cost estimation, tooling and process requirements.
• Experience leading large, complex projects with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of job area and in-depth knowledge of project management.
• Manages large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance with minimal oversight or direction.
• Communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to processes, practices, and approaches.
• Makes significant improvements to systems and processes.
• Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.
• Travels 5-10% may be required.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.
