Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Wilsonville, Oregon, is seeking a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to join an integrated product team supporting test solutions for vision systems and sensors across commercial and military applications.

You will troubleshoot test equipment, boards, and PIXe chassis, provide technician support, and assist with lean electronics improvements under senior guidance. Onsite role with competitive benefits and salary range.

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer with knowledge of manufacturing test procedures and troubleshooting complex digital and analog circuitry as part of an integrated product team supporting test solutions for new and existing vision systems and sensors supporting both commercial and military applications.

What You Will Do:

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with aerospace industry principles and practices, including prior exposure to aerospace systems and applications.
  • Gained experience in optical display systems, showcasing an understanding of their functionality and integration in relevant technologies.
  • Experience with gage studies, Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies, and the theoretical influence of software on automated test equipment.
  • Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
