Altria Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Controls Engineer II at U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company in Richmond, VA to lead troubleshooting and improvements of PLC-controlled equipment.

You will support reliability initiatives, analyze process data, and help install new machinery while collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams.

The starting salary depends on experience; the salary range is $104,900 to $152,150, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Undergraduate degree in an engineering field is required.
• 6-8 years of experience in manufacturing, factory controls, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix, drives, Beckhoff PLC, vision systems, FactoryTalk View, AssetCentre, and barcode readers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; strong communication and leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and solve issues on process and packing equipment, including customized machines.
• Support reliability initiatives to minimize failures via root cause analysis and predictive maintenance.
• Analyze PLC data and performance of controlled equipment; experience with trending software preferred.
• Develop and deploy control system improvements to meet product requirements and business demand.
• Analyze and apply problem solving techniques to improve methods, processes, products, systems, and equipment.
• Contribute to major programs and projects requiring coordination by technical personnel.
