Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an experienced Assistant Segment Controller to lead controllership, cost accounting and financial insights across Hubbell Utility Solutions. This senior role will support manufacturing operations, manage the monthly close and standard cost roll, and collaborate with FP&A and operations to drive performance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of cost accounting/controllership experience, CPA or CMA preferred, and can travel 25-30% to support multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and professional certification (CPA or CMA) preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive cost accounting and controllership experience, with leadership.
• Willingness to travel 25-30%.
• Experience with SAP, OneStream and Blackline preferred.
• Strong communication, mentoring and staff development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead controllership, cost accounting and financial insights for manufacturing operations.
• Oversee monthly close, standard cost roll and inventory controls.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and drive data-driven decisions.
• Develop reporting tools to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Ensure SOX compliance and internal control effectiveness.
• Partner with FP&A and operations to deliver value-added analysis.
• Provide leadership and guidance to local cost accounting teams.
