Hubbell Incorporated in multiple locations (St. Louis, MO; Farmington, CT; Shelton, CT; Greenville, SC) seeks an Assistant Segment Controller to lead controllership, cost accounting, and financial insights across Manufacturing operations.

Reports to HUS Controller and drives inventory controls, monthly closings, and standard cost processes. The role requires 10+ years in cost accounting and controllership within manufacturing, CPA/CMA preferred, and 25–30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive cost accounting and controllership in manufacturing.
• At least 6 years in a leadership role.
• Travel 25–30% anticipated.
• SAP, OneStream and Blackline experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff; communicate up the chain.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for accurate, timely financial reporting under US GAAP.
• Lead the annual standard cost roll and inventory controls.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and core drivers for strategic growth.
• Develop and refine reporting tools to improve data visibility for decision-making.
• Oversee SOX controls and internal control effectiveness.
• Lead international teams to align with domestic initiatives.
