Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated’s Hubbell Utility Solutions is hiring an Assistant Segment Controller to lead controllership, cost accounting, and financial insights across the business. This senior-level role will be based in St.

Louis, MO or other Hubbell manufacturing sites and reports to the HUS Controller. You will oversee monthly close, standard cost roll, inventory controls, and financial reporting for manufacturing operations, partnering with FP&A and local operations to deliver accurate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive cost accounting and controllership experience in manufacturing.
• Leadership experience and ability to travel 25–30%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close, standard cost roll and inventory controls.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and explain drivers to leadership.
• Develop and refine reporting tools for visibility and decision-making.
• Ensure SOX compliance and strong internal controls over financial reporting.
• Lead and mentor local cost accounting teams and cross-functional partners.
