Job summary

Winamac Coil Spring, Inc. is seeking a Controller to oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls. The role partners with the leadership team to drive profitability and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.

The Controller will supervise accounting staff, support strategic initiatives, and optimize Plex ERP systems to improve financial processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with financial reporting and month-end close.
• Background in manufacturing or cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounting periods.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and chart of accounts.
• Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations.
