Job summary

TBG Recruiting is seeking an experienced mechanical engineering professional in Youngstown, OH. The role focuses on applying strong manufacturing knowledge to support sales, cost estimating and technical proposals while driving automation and tooling improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a degreed background, 10+ years in manufacturing, CAD experience (AutoCAD, Inventor) and PLC/controls familiarity to design efficient processes and accurate cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings, prints, dimensions and tolerances.
• Strong Excel skills and cost estimating experience.
• 3D/2D CAD experience including AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Knowledge of PLCs and controls.

Responsibilities

• Support sales, cost estimating and technical proposal writing.
• Recommend manufacturing processes and automation.
• Prepare tooling and equipment cost estimates.
• Assist with tooling and equipment design considerations.
• Collaborate on process improvements in metal stamping and forming.
