This safety-sensitive role requires hands-on expertise and the ability to work with controls engineers to integrate robotics and tooling.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in mechanical design, solid knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and the ability to travel nationwide up to 25%.

Competenze

• Two-year degree required; four-year degree preferred.
• 5–10 years hands-on mechanical design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience designing automated systems based on industrial robots.
• Designing end-of-arm tooling, conveyors and pick & place devices.
• Knowledge of cost‐effective machining and fabrication processes.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities.
• Strong communication and multi-tasking skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide up to 25%.

Mansioni

• Define the Scope of Work for automation projects from pre-sale concepts to detailed design and implementation.
• Develop budgets for the mechanical scope of work including labor, purchased and fabricated content, and assembly costs.
• Interact with controls engineers and integrate controls into designs.
• Assemble detailed mechanical designs and procure cost-effective components and fabrications.
• Coordinate deliveries and manage supplier base; provide on-site field service support as required.
