Job summary

Autokiniton in Ohio seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems for new and retrofit equipment. You will program AB PLCs, HMIs, and servo drives, and help implement Fanuc robotics while modeling control logic in CAD-based tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
5–8 years of hands-on engineering experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.
AB PLC and HMI programming software at an advanced level.
Fanuc programming languages at an advanced level.
MQ1 and QAD databases at an advanced level.

Responsibilities

Design electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls for new and retrofit equipment.
Understand, support, and program PLC, HMI, and motor drive systems for new equipment.
Understand, support, and develop servo, VFD, and DC drive configurations.
Troubleshoot systems on the plant floor and support cross-functional teams.
Support new model launches and continuous improvement activities.
