Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Manufacturing Analyst to join the Life Cycle Sustainment Organization in Elkridge, MD. You will advise management, lead material flow, and drive procurement, inventory control, and metrics across programs.

The role requires a bachelor’s (or higher) in a related field with extensive MRP/ERP experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance. Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or Master's with 3 years, or 9 years of related experience; manufacturing experience may substitute degree.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Strong MS Office and Excel/data analysis skills.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage changing priorities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and drive the timely flow of product through Manufacturing to support delivery.
• Manage schedule status and visibility of hardware for programs, from kit conversion to delivery.
• Collaborate with suppliers, MRP, manufacturing, program management to meet metrics.
• Utilize Tableau and SAP to analyze metrics and resolve shortages.
• Determine stock availability and manage procurement for non-standard parts.
• Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.
• Initiate material procurement and manage processing.
• Review material depletion to support spare/repair parts positioning.
• Manage asset locations and government furnished equipment allocations.
• Monitor inventory and material allocations for accuracy.
• Support DOD and commercial customers in a depot environment.
• Senior duties: cross-functional processes, training, and team coaching.
• Partner with customers on planning, problem resolution, and process improvement initiatives.
