Qualifications

• Must be a seasoned operator familiar with Wholesale Food Distribution (experience in food distribution preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders to achieve mission-driven and financial goals.
• Staff development focus with systems, training, accountability and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Wholesale Operations including receiving, storage, inventory, order fulfillment and outbound delivery.
• Oversee warehouse operations performance, inventory control, food safety, workplace safety, compliance and shipping; set standards with Warehouse Manager.
• Oversee delivery and logistics performance, route optimization, driver safety and fleet utilization; coordinate with Outbound Logistics Manager.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Sales on inventory availability, fulfillment and delivery service levels; resolve fulfillment and delivery issues.
• Provide backup leadership for operational continuity and support new service lines as directed by Wholesale Director.
