Job summary

Sia Partners is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Wealth & Asset Management engagements in New York. You will drive strategy, operating model transformations, and AI/data modernization for asset managers, custodians, and banks.

Strong leadership and client-management skills are essential to deliver complex programs. Ideal candidates have deep industry knowledge, 10+ years in wealth/asset management, and a proven track record in delivering large-scale transformations and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Engineering; master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in management consulting or industry in Wealth Management / Asset Management or relevant roles in Financial Services.
• Direct, working knowledge of wealth and asset management operations, platforms, and vendor solutions across portfolio management, IBOR/ABOR, OMS/EMS, trading and middle-office workflows, custody, performance and attribution, alternatives, ETFs, managed accounts, reconciliations, exceptions, and operational controls.
• Strong industry knowledge across wealth and asset management, with the ability to discuss wealth platforms, SMA/UMA models, investment operations, trading workflows, AI use cases, and operating model transformation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Wealth & Asset Management Operations Expertise: strong working knowledge of wealth and asset management operations.
• Apply Knowledge of Financial Markets, Products & Client Solutions: understand operational requirements for wealth products and services.
• Translate Technical Concepts into Business Solutions: explain complex concepts for senior stakeholders.
• Understand End-to-End Client and Investment Lifecycle: identify impacts of evolving client expectations on front-to-back processes.
• Navigate Regulatory, Risk & Control Considerations: understand fiduciary obligations, privacy, and compliance.
• Shape Client Solutions & Delivery Approaches: define strategies, roadmaps, and adoption plans.
• Drive Business Development: originate client opportunities and contribute to revenue targets.
• Coach & Develop Teams: supervise and mentor consultants and managers.
• Contribute to Firm Leadership: share knowledge and represent the firm professionally.
