Job summary

Altria is seeking a Senior Manager, Vendor Managed Inventory to lead AGDC's VMI program and drive inventory strategies across a major wholesale network. You will influence partners, translate demand and supply signals into replenishment actions, and shape enterprise outcomes.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and development of a high-performing team within a dynamic, high-impact environment in Richmond, VA—with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/Master’s or equivalent preferred.
• 7+ years in supply chain or related leadership roles.
• Strong forecasting, inventory management, and replenishment knowledge.
• Experience leveraging systems to drive decisions and performance.
• Proven ability to build trusted customer partnerships and influence stakeholders.
• Experience leading high-performing teams through change.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, execution, and evolution of AGDC's VMI program.
• Own inventory performance and translate signals into replenishment strategies.
• Build partnerships with wholesale distribution customers and serve as strategic advisor.
• Identify risks/opportunities to improve inventory and business results.
• Partner with Sales, Trade Distribution, Finance, IT to drive results.
• Provide leadership insights and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop a high-performing team through coaching and organizational design.
