Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Manager, Economic Analysis and Transmission Strategy to advance the clean energy transition in New England. You will lead economic analyses of the region’s transmission system, model capacity expansion and production costs, and oversee cross-functional teams of engineers and analysts.

You will develop analytical products and communications for policy makers, coordinate with ISO-NE filings, and represent the company in regulatory and industry forums while mentoring staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 10–12 years of experience in the electricity industry.
• Experience with transmission planning and policy analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop economic analyses of the New England system and capacity expansion.
• Supervise engineers and analysts and coordinate cross-functional analyses.
• Support bid development and eligibility filings for funding opportunities.
• Prepare data, reports, and presentations for ISO New England.
• Engage with state, regional, and federal forums.
