Rippling, based in San Francisco, CA, seeks a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting & Reporting to lead complex accounting research, policy setting, and financial reporting as the company scales toward public readiness.

The role partners with cross-functional teams and auditors, owning external reporting readiness, disclosures, and scalable processes while developing a high-performing accounting team in a hybrid work model 1–3 days in the SF office.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive accounting roles focusing on technical research and financial reporting.
• CPA required; Big Four or national firm experience strongly preferred.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and ability to defend accounting conclusions.
• Experience with SEC reporting, public-company readiness, and IPO processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting research and documentation for complex areas and product initiatives.
• Own preparation and review of technical memos, policy positions, and conclusions under US GAAP; coordinate with International Accounting team.
• Oversee external reporting readiness, disclosures, controls, and public-company reporting processes.
• Drive transition from private to public-company reporting; develop scalable close and reporting processes.
• Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting and reporting team.
