Job summary

Rippling is seeking an Accounting Manager to join the Payments Compliance Accounting team to establish and maintain a robust accounting infrastructure for expansion into new payment processing markets.

You will lead U.S. GAAP financial reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and support MTL-related activities, while collaborating with legal, finance, treasury, tax, product, and R&D to deploy scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• CPA or qualified Chartered Accountant required.
• 7+ years accounting/finance experience including 3+ years in tech/fintech.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP revenue recognition.
• Understanding of U.S. Money Transmission Laws is a plus.
• Experience with Netsuite ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for payments entities.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. state and federal money transmission laws and regulations.
• Prepare and analyze U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements and secondary books.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate financial records and support audits.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures for regulatory compliance.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with legal, finance, treasury, tax, product, and R&D.
• Drive process automation for journal entries, reporting, and system integrations.
• Handle ad-hoc requests and special projects.
