Rippling in San Francisco, CA is hiring an Accounting Manager for the PEO Compliance Accounting team. You will establish and maintain an accounting infrastructure to support Rippling’s expansion, focusing on regulatory reporting, tax compliance, and audits.

You will lead day-to-day operations across PEO entities, drive automation, and collaborate with legal, finance, treasury, tax, product, and R&D to deliver scalable financial solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressively responsible accounting and finance experience.
• CPA or Qualified Chartered Accountant preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP and data warehouse tools (Snowflake, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for PEO entities, including carrier obligations and general ledger maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. PEO laws and regulations.
• Prepare and analyze US GAAP-compliant financial statements and secondary books.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate financial records and facilitate audits.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures for regulatory compliance.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with legal, finance, treasury, tax, product, and R&D to deliver scalable solutions.
• Drive process automation for journal entries, reporting, and system integrations.
• Take ownership of ad-hoc requests and special projects.
