Job summary

Rippling is seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager for our PEO Compliance Accounting team. You will help establish a robust accounting infrastructure to support Rippling’s PEO expansion, assist regulators with periodic reporting, and support new product offerings and audits.

You will work with a diverse team across the U.S., Europe, and India to ensure accurate financial records, drive process automation, and maintain compliance, while collaborating with legal, finance, tax, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressively responsible accounting and finance experience, preferably in professional services (Big-4) and high-growth startups.
• CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP and data warehouse infrastructure (e.g., Snowflake, Tableau, Census).
• Proficiency in SQL and data analytics tools like Snowflake and Tableau is a plus.
• Expertise in building workflows, automating processes, and mapping interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for PEO entities, including insurance carriers and general ledger maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. PEO laws and regulations.
• Prepare and analyze U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements and secondary books as required by PEO regulations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, treasury, tax, product, and R&D to maintain records and support audits.
• Develop accounting policies and procedures to meet regulatory standards.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable solutions and automate journal entries and reporting.
• Take ownership of ad-hoc requests and special projects.
